Growth Group Vision
Immanuel is working toward becoming a Church of Small Groups. Every individual is encouraged to grow and mature in community with others. Each group is encouraged to study, serve, and play together.
Timing & Topics
Growth groups meet in sessions that are held 3 times a year. Each session runs for approximately 6 - 10 weeks. Each fall, all groups study the same topic in a Church-Wide Study that is supported by the Sunday Sermon Series. Past topics for the Church-Wide focus include 40 Days of Community and Training vs.Trying.
Group Logistics
Groups meet weekly or bi-weekly at a host-home and are facilitated in discussion, prayer, and service by a Group Leader. Groups are typically sized from 6-10 members and are encouraged to always have an open chair for new members.
Getting Connected
Everyone is encouraged to be a part of a growth group. Groups provide an encouraging environment, opportunities for healthy faith-based discussions and service to one another and our community. Contact us if you are interested in becoming involved.
