Women's Ministry

"Women in Christ" is the Women's Ministry at Immanuel Baptist Church intended for women of all cultures and ages. Our purpose is to support and nurture women both in the church and in the community in their faith journey so that they will know God and feel valued as women. We provide opportunities for women to engage in meaningful fellowship with one another and with their Heavenly Father.

There are three aspects to this ministry:

Connecting: giving opportunities for women to connect with other women in the church and community.
Reflecting: enabling women to consider and reflect on their faith journey (experiences, accomplishments, gifts, strengths/failings), set new goals and take steps to move on with the journey
Growing in Christ: developing the hearts and minds of Christian women

Women experience various seasons in life, and an important aspect of Women in Christ is to seek to understand where each woman finds herself, and to come alongside her in her stage of life and journey with her. We have and support a variety of events throughout the ministry year, each with a different purpose and intent. Activities and events include the following:

	Weekend Retreats		Our weekend retreat happens off site. Join us for a weekend of inspired teaching, heartfelt worship and genuine community with other women. Our venue: Fairhavens Conference Grounds. Take a step back, away from the busyness and activity of everyday life, and experience God's rest. Stay tuned for the date of our next retreat.
	Women's Breakfast		Stay tuned for information on the next Women's breakfast.
