Worship Commission

The Worship Commission has the joy and privilege of helping plan worship services, giving feedback regarding worship services, and taking care of all aspects of worship, from setting up for Communion services to organizing training events for musicians.

Worship includes many things – a warm welcome, music, prayer, drama, special events, like Black History Month, sound biblical preaching and a well-run sound system.  We are privileged to have a choir and two worship teams, who provide an enriching mix of traditional and contemporary music, and a lot of congregational involvement in our services.

Our worship services are intentionally diverse, to reflect the diversity of our church. In any given service you may hear an ancient prayer and watch a Youtube clip. Click here to find out more about…

Sound System Team
Every worship service requires people to run the soundboard and videotape the service.  This is an often-unseen ministry that benefits the whole church.

Media Team
At Immanuel we use EasyWorship to project words and images onto a screen to enhance, but not overwhelm, our worship times.  We’ve utilized YouTube clips and pictures taken by people in our own church.
