Worship Music Teams

Worship Music Teams are made up of people who are committed to being worshippers of God first in our lives, then in our faith community. Working well as a team requires time and unity of purpose.  A reasonable level of musical competence and creativity is also necessary for involvement on a worship music team.

Worship Music Team members:

• Acknowledge Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord and are growing in that relationship
• Are committed to excellence in musical expression while avoiding an attitude of performance
• Share the desire to function as a group that prays and cares for each other
• Are accountable to each other and open to correction
• Regularly attend rehearsals
• Regularly attend Immanuel as their home church
• Can be at church early enough to rehearse and pray on Sunday mornings

Teams are open to people who want to participate in rehearsals as they grow in faith and their understanding of what it means to worship and lead in worship.
