the Son and of the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19)
Mission Statement:
We are committed to inspire and empower our people to make Immanuel a centre for mission and outreach, in our community and beyond.
To that end, we direct our energies to:
- informing our congregation of the needs of missionaries and ministries we support
- motivating and equipping them to share their faith by providing vehicles through which to do so
- promoting our church as a place where spiritual and social needs can be met
The aforementioned goals are met through monthly commissions committee meetings where:
- our missionaries are prayed for
- information about our missionaries is updated
- training programs and special outreach events are planned
(e.g. Fall Fair, Wave Pool, Missionary Moment, ...)
- the missions budget is reviewed and prepared annually
