In an article published in Maclean’s magazine, Cathy Gulli says that "If anyone can be called the boss in modern, anti-hierarchical parenthood, it’s the children." Today's parents are motivated by a desire to raise their children thoughtfully and respectfully, yet at the same time they are at risk of losing primacy over their children.
