Youth

Due to the COVID we have moved all our youth ministry activities online. We are staying connected and in community through various platforms. For more information please Contact us.

Youth programming is designed to help grade 6-12 students flourish in every part of their lives. We seek to provide spiritual guidance along with recreational opportunities, opportunities for friendships to blossom and challenge personal growth.

Ignite

Due to COVID our youth group is doing Youth Alpha on Thursdays at 4pm and meeting Fridays at 7pm on Zoom.

Ignite is our intergenerational ministry where all ages come together for a free dinner followed by programming for children, youth, and adults.  Youth participate in fun activities and engage in discussions on various topics. Contact Hannah for the dates of our next series. 

The Zone 

Due to COVID the Zone is meeting Sundays at 3pm on Zoom.

The Zone is a safe place where Jr. High youth interact and learn about life and Jesus. We explore Scripture, our relationship with God, and living a life of faith. The Zone is a community that encourages questions and friendship. We meet three times a month. Check the Calendar for our schedule.

THE DOCK

Due to COVID the Dock is meeting Sundays at 3pm on Zoom.

The Dock is a safe harbour where Sr. High youth explore Scripture, our relationship with God and what it means to live lives that honour God. The Dock is a place to be encouraged, challenged, and replenished before the voyage back to our busy lives. Check the Calendar for our schedule.

YOUTH EVENTS

Throughout the year we get together for fun events, anything from apple picking to movie nights! They are great opportunities to bring friends and get to know our Immanuel youth family as we make memories together. Contact Hannah at for information about our next event! 

Camp On the Rock

Sadly, Due to COVID Camp on the Rock will not be happening this year.

Camp on the Rock gives children and youth in our church and community an opportunity to get out of the city and into nature. Younger youth are a part of the regular camp program and we run a Leader in Training program where older youth have opportunity to develop their leadership abilities. JOY Mentoring

Due to COVID our youth in the JOY Mentoring Ministry have been meeting their mentors online.

Journey with Our Youth is our new mentoring ministry in which a group of youth are intentionally given opportunities to grow in their relationship with God and develop leadership abilities. Throughout the year they meet with a mentor, receive training, plan and lead events making the youth ministry their own. Contact Hannah at for information about JOY!

Youth retreats

Retreats give youth an opportunity to go away for a weekend, encounter God and deepen their friendships with one another. There are two youth winter retreats, Blizzard for Sr. high and Avalanche for Jr. high. At retreats, youth experience our youth ministry community and connect with other youth from other CBOQ churches. Contact Hannah at for more information.
